Lakeridge Health Foundation Rules of Play for Cars for Care Raffle:
The raffle draws will take place as follows:
Campaign: Sales will close on March 23 at 6:30PM
EARLY bird one for $2,000 CASH
Deadline January 13, 2025 at Midnight
Draw date January 15, 2025 at 2:00PM
EARLY bird two for $3,000 CASH
Deadline February 5, 2025 at Midnight
Draw Date: February 7, 2025 at 2:00PM
EARLY bird two for $5,00 CASH
Deadline February 26, 2025 at Midnight
Draw Date: February 28, 2025 at 2:00PM
CLARINGTON KIA Grand Prize draw –Cars for Care with 5 vehicle options to choose from (maximum total prize value including taxes and delivery is $93,168.67)
Grand Prize will be drawn on March 23, 2025 during 1st intermission at Oshawa Generals Game which will be held at Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa (approximately 7:00PM)
All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older.
Purchaser must be in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
Ticket prices are 1 for $40 or 3 for $100. Only 10,000 tickets will be printed and sold.
Tickets will be available online for the duration of the raffle license at www.carsforcare.ca
Tickets will be reserved online with paper tickets completed by Lakeridge health Foundation staff and a copy of tickets will be sent to purchasers as per address provided at registration or arrangements can be made to pick up ticket stubs at Lakeridge Health Foundation offices.

After buying through the website, purchasers will receive an email confirming their order and their ticket stubs will be sent to the address provided.
The winning ticket numbers will be selected by raffle draw and winners will be contacted by phone and email.
The Prize winner names and ticket numbers will be listed on
www.carsforcare.ca and will also be shared through Lakeridge Health Foundation social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram.
The vehicle will be awarded free of any hidden costs (such as taxes, pre-delivery inspection [PDI] costs and dealer’s fees). NOVUS Auto Group will cover the cost of licensing in Ontario, customer will be responsible for their own insurance costs and will need to provide proof of insurance prior to delivery.
The awarded prize of a brand new vehicle, provided and obtained through NOVUS Auto Group in Oshawa. The Grand Prize winner will have their choice of one of the following vehicles:
2025 KIA Sorento Plug-In HSX valued at $80,684.81
2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5N valued at $93,167.83
2025 Cadillac Lyriq valued at $80,000.00
2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT valued at $87,610.84
2024 Harley-Davidson FLXRS Low Rider and 2024 Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide with combined value of $72,482.00
In the event that the winner of the Cars for Care raffle chooses not to accept the prize as awarded, Lakeridge Health Foundation will offer the winner an opportunity to take a cash alternative of $75,000.00 after the draw and prior to the winner taking delivery of the vehicle.
The winner must provide their name, address and phone number with photo identification for our report sheet and send it to foundation@lh.ca or call 905-433-4339. All early bird payments will be made by cheque.
Once the certified Grand Prize winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, the purchaser of the winning ticket may come to the dealership that relates to their vehicle choice to claim their prize. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the vehicle will be held until such identification can be provided.
The winning ticket holder has until June 30, 2025 to claim their prize.
If no winner comes forward the number will be announced repeatedly on our social media platforms, and posted on the Lakeridge Health Foundation website:
https://lhfoundation.ca. Every effort will also be made to contact the winner by phone and email.
In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than Lakeridge Health Foundation, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the raffle draws: Lakeridge Health Foundation employees and their family members residing at the same residence and Lakeridge Health Foundation Board of Directors and their family members residing at their residence.
